Recent Projects
As a Presidential Management Fellow, my projects have spanned research, writing, and planning for individual historic structures to agency-wide policy analysis of flood adaptation and emergency response strategies. A few examples are included below, and links will be added as works become available to the public.

The Burnside-Dellinger House
Historic Structure Report (HSR) for a unique three-part stone house along the canal towpath at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park (CHOH). Recently discovered newspaper evidence and writing in original plaster dates the property to the early nineteenth century (circa 1808-1813). Findings were presented at the Maryland Historical Trust’s 2024 Architectural Fieldwork Symposium.

The Allstadt House & Ordinary
Historic Structure Report (HSR) and measured drawings for an early nineteenth century homestead in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (HAFE). The building played a central role in John Brown raid on October 16, 1859. New discoveries included identifying slave quarters and determining construction sequences.

The King Family Home
Interior Finishes Study for the King Family Home at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park (MALU) in Atlanta, GA. Work included documenting and researching mid-century modern finishes including wallpaper, plywood paneling, paint, shag carpet, and vinyl asbestos tiles, and developing recommendations to guide the home’s restoration to its circa 1964-1972 appearance.
